My name is Crystal and I would like to take a moment to explain how this store came to be. In 1994, my mother was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. She was given 10 months to live. She told her Doctor to do whatever she could to fight the cancer. The only option was massive radiation therapy. So, my mom agreed. Through the Grace of our Lord, she was cured of the cancer. The large doses of Radiation caused severe internal damage. But, even with this damage, my mom always felt she was truly blessed. Her Faith was outstanding and she prayed continuously for those around her. She went on to live another nine years, seeing me graduate from high school, get married and have two beautiful children. Although she suffered daily, she loved the time she had with her grand-babies teaching my son how to draw and make heartfelt gifts. My mom loved to sew and make handmade gifts for the people she treasured. She passed this love on to me and my children. I know that this store was something she longed to do. My mom passed away from radiation damage on October 16, 2003 but left behind a legacy and a gift. And with that gift, I hope to fulfill
Latonia's Dream.
